An eatery at Chiang Mai’s Think Park lifestyle complex is currently staging a rainy season all-you-can-eat fruit buffet. Although the star of the edible attractions is the much-loved durian, the spread on the over-laden buffet tables offers a full assortment of Thailand’s native fruits.
Mangoes, lychees, watermelons and even the legendary Phu Lae pineapple are there for the taking. Mango and sticky rice with cream and ice-creams concocted from durian and coconuts using traditional recipes are added incentives to head on down to the Think Park’s T Station Restaurant before September.
The fruit buffet runs thrice daily with opening times between 12:30 and 14:00, 16:00 and 17:30, 18:30 and 20:00. Entry costs THB399 per person. Children under 120 centimetres tall and accompanied by at least one paying adult get to eat for free. The admission price gives unlimited portions of durian and all other fruits for a window of 90 minutes.
King Fruit Paradise Buffet at the T Station opened on 19 May and will run through until the 15 September. Think Park is located on the southwest corner of the Huay Kaew Road- Nimmanhaemin Road crossroads and across from the Maya Mall.
